Your mouth is part of the oral cavity and entrance to your entire body. During your comprehensive exam, Dr. Fisher will include a thorough Oral Cancer Screening. Doctor will examine all parts of the oral cavity including lips, cheeks, tongue, floor of the mouth, hard palate & pharynx(throat). Seeing your dentist as recommended may help catch suspicious changes early. Like many kinds of cancer, oral cancer can be life-threatening if not diagnosed and treated early.
